As a junior rider in Ohio, Lauren competed in hunters and equitation, leading to a position on the University of Georgia NCAA equestrian team. After graduating with a degree in Speech Communication, she went on to coach and train at facilities in Mississippi, Ohio,  and Louisiana. Before moving to Folsom, Lauren had the oppurtunity to  train under a few top professionals, as well as Co-Coach the Mississippi College IHSA equestrian team 2010-2011 season. In 2013, Lauren founded one of Louisiana's first santioned interscholastic teams for high school and middle school riders. During their inaugural season, the Lagniappe IEA team had a successful year, concluding with team champion and reserve awards. Lauren focuses on building strong foundations in equitation, finesse, and knowledge from the greenest horses and riders, through those competing at rated levels.
